This page is a template. Duplicate the file, rename it, and change the frontmatter at the top โ that is all it takes to add a subject.
What goes on a subject page
Anything a tutor teaching this subject would want in one place: practice material, the way we like topics taught, common pitfalls, and links to files.
Key stage breakdown
Use headings to break the page up so it can be scanned rather than read.
KS3
Short paragraphs work better than long ones here. Tutors are usually skimming this between lessons.
GCSE
You can link to another page in the wiki or to anything external. Internal links use the path, starting with a slash.
A-level
Lists are good for anything a tutor might work through in order:
- Set the extract in context
- Work through the language analysis
- Practise the timed response
Notes and warnings
Anything in a blockquote stands out from the body text. Useful for the one thing you want nobody to miss.
A note on student work
Do not put student names, contact details or marked student work on this site. Those live in Google Drive, shared per tutor. This wiki is non-personal reference material only.
